/in NewsThis week we celebrated Pauline Coverley’s 101st birthday.It was her family’s wishes that we celebrated it this way. They all had a wonderful time. She had a piano cake as when she is bright enough to get out of bed she likes to sit at our piano and tinkle the ivories. Happy 101st! Pauline!

Mother’s Day
/in NewsMother’s day is such a special day in all our calendars, and perhaps a little harder to celebrate this year as we are so used to big family gatherings in all of our homes. But we did manage a few quiet visits from family, with plenty of colourful spring flowers and delicious cakes.
Hidden talents!
/in NewsOne of the positive things about this year is discovering hidden talents. With lockdown and visitors restrictions we have sadly been unable to allow our usual hairdressers into the homes. It’s amazing how many of our care team can cut hair! It seems that Dhimo, our Actitives Coordinator at Chollaott House in Tavistock is really rather good at it!
