The Manor, Exminster – Finalists at the Outstanding Care Awards 2018

George Vazdoaga is a finalist in the ‘Care Newcomer’ category and Kayleigh Nowlan, the ‘Activity Organiser’ category. Having comprehensively seen off some experienced external competition, we are really pleased to have appointed Barbara Kader to the position of Care Home Manager. /in NewsAlthough lovely to see the snow in Devon (a rare thing!) it has presented challenges for many. Thank you to all of our care teams for going above and beyond, to keep our residents safe, warm and well-fed during the past few days. Many people were stranded at work, so kindly stayed to work shifts that others (trapped at home!), were unable to cover. I’m always overwhelmed by the kindness, generosity and selflessness of people in times of need. Thank you, you lovely people!

Singing Chefs at the Dove Tree Christmas party
/in NewsDove Tree House in Exeter held a Christmas Party for residents, family, friends and staff on Friday afternoon. A huge raffle, where everyone won a prize(or two), fun party games, a wonderful spread of food and Christmas karaoke led by Keith and Jake, the home’s chefs! Over £150 was raised for the residents fund. Well done all at Dove Tree xx
