Family Time, Mocktails & Sunshine @Woodhayes
/in NewsSue and her son spent a lovely bit of time out in the garden this week, soaking up the sunshine and catching up properly. The benches were warm, the flowers were starting to show off, and the whole place just felt brighter. They sat together for ages, chatting, laughing, and enjoying the kind of simple moment that makes spring feel so good.

A cycle around the Meadows @Chollacott
/in NewsWe had a lovely afternoon having a cycle around the meadows with Colin and the team from cycle without age. It was lovely to get out in the glorious sunshine and have the wind blowing through our hair. We are very lucky to have such a beautiful area right on our doorstep.

Summer Sunshine @ Dove Tree House
/in NewsSix of our lovely residents enjoyed a wonderful afternoon in the garden, taking advantage of the warm sunshine and fresh air. Spending time outdoors provides a great opportunity to relax, socialise, and enjoy the beauty of nature. It was lovely to see everyone smiling and making the most of the pleasant weather.

Keeley’s Cafe @ The Manor
/in NewsKeeley’s cafe was another huge success this month! Residents love choosing from the menu, adding extra treats to their breakfasts, and some even went all out with a full English. One of the best parts of Keeley’s cafe is seeing the excitement on everyone’s face when the menu arrives- And even bigger smiles when the food follows!

Repotting @ Primrose House
/in NewsWhat an amazing few weeks we’ve had with the weather! We’ve been out in the garden enjoying the sunshine. We braved the fresh wind this afternoon to re-pot the sunflower seedlings into bigger pots. We only managed to re-pot 5 of them, only another 25 to go.

Car boot day & May Fair @Bluebell House
/in NewsWe’ve had such a wonderful time, from all the items our residents have made to exploring. Look at Carol as she takes the basket around outside selling to the stalls and public, poor Kevin had to push. We also weren’t sure if the dog was going to make a purchase but she looks interested.

Roses for the Residents @Woodhayes
/in NewsTo celebrate Mother’s Day, every female resident in our care home received a beautiful rose a small gesture to honour the love, strength, and wisdom they’ve shared throughout their lives. The joy was unmistakable. As staff delivered each rose, many residents reminisced about family traditions, gardens they once tended, and cherished Mother’s Days from years past. The home was filled with stories, laughter, and a lovely sense of togetherness. Mother’s Day is a reminder of the nurturing spirit that lives in so many of our residents, and this simple act brought a touch of beauty and appreciation to their day. Our community felt brighter, softer, and wonderfully connected.

Getting Crafty @ St Petrocs
/in NewsEaster is in the air today and we are getting in the mood! Everybody helped out getting St Petrocs feeling ready with decorations and painting! What an amazing Easter we all shared. There were games, a raffle and a tombola, a visit from the Mayor, hat decorating, games, and visits from family and friends! Not to mention tucking in to all the chocolaty eggs! Here’s just some of the photos from Our Eggztravaganza.
