Happy Onam Day festivities at The Manor today with our fanastic overseas care team treating the residents, which celebrates their harvest festival. It was lovely to see them wearing their beautiful traditional costumes, and even nicer to join in the celebrations with them.
Betty was delighted to be presented with her Birthday Card from The Queen by Mayor Nick Laws for her 100th Birthday.
Bluebell House were delighted to receive The Purple Angel Ambassador Certificate for raising awareness of the challenges faced by people living with Dementia.
Georgie, the activities co-ordinator commented “It’s such an amazing achievement for all of us here at Bluebell House”.
A few residents enjoyed a beautiful getaway beside the seaside along with a lovely rereshing ice-cream to cool down!
The team at Bluebell House made the most of having the minibus and took their residents out for a Chinese meal.
It’s Wimbledon fortnight at Chollacott House, the residents loved Wimbledon so much, they hosted their own tournament.
