Mother’s Day

Mother’s day is such a special day in all our calendars, and perhaps a little harder to celebrate this year as we are so used to big family gatherings in all of our homes. But we did manage a few quiet visits from family, with plenty of colourful spring flowers and delicious cakes.Mother's day rose Mother's day

Hidden talents!

One of the positive things about this year is discovering hidden talents. With lockdown and visitors restrictions we have sadly been unable to allow our usual hairdressers into the homes. It’s amazing how many of our care team can cut hair! It seems that Dhimo, our Actitives Coordinator at Chollaott House in Tavistock is really rather good at it!

Bridge Over Troubled Water

Our Stonehaven Logo

When I was asked to come up with a theme for a new company logo, I thought of our original ethos as that of a safe & strong home and place to dwell.

Chollacott House - Snow

Snow on the Moor!

A little flurry of snow fell on Chollacott on New Years Eve and some of the residents enjoyed going outside to experience it. Unfortunately not enough for a snowball fight, though it saved Barbara the Manager doing risk assessments ☺☺
