A day of blessings and celebration enjoyed with Father Matt held on the Drake Unit this month.





Nothing is stopping us from getting a head start on the Halloween fun! Some might say it’s a bit early, but we say it’s never too soon to have a spook-tacular time! From crafty creations to spooky decorations popping up around The Manor, it’s clear we’re ready for a fang-tastic October time.




From making Cuthbert the scarecrow to 1-1 games; such as light chasing, grab catch and word soup. Elizabeth enjoyed the magnetic shapes this morning she loved the colours and she could feel the pull. She also enjoyed a cup of tea whilst creating her masterpiece.

World Alzheimer’s Day at Bluebell House was celebrating with decorating forget me not flowers and cake decorating.



Here’s an insight into how ‘Chollacott House’ celebrated their day. Everyone had a lovely time, playing memory games, planting the forget me not seeds and they even held a raffle.
World Alzheimer’s Day is part of a global effort to raise awareness about Alzheimer’s disease, which effects over 55 million people worldwide.










This month there was so much to celebrate from Bingo, Cake decorating, The Glorious Weather, Birthdays and enjoying a day out in the Mini Bus to Exmouth Beach, it was a very hot day and we enjoyed are ice-creams and the scenery.

Our residents have truly enjoyed the wonderful meals and the chance to get out and about at Westbank the last month. We’ve been making it a special tradition to visit every other week, not only to enjoy the tasty food but also to connect with the local community through quizzes and games. Here is Kay and I at Westbank last week – Roast chicken dinner followed by a quiz and a word search!


With the beautiful sunshine we have had recently it seemed rude to not have a garden party. Thankfully we were blessed with the weather on the day and enjoyed some delicious cake and time together in the garden. We then had a sing along afternoon as we were provided entertainment from a residents family member.
