Little Act of Kindness

Unexpected deliveries like these have such a positive effect on us all! The staff and residents at St Petrocs were delighted to receive these beautiful spring flower from Churchtown Farm on the Isles of Scilly, with the words:

‘To all the staff

From Bodmin Light and Life Church.’

Thank you so much for this Act of Kindness.

Our Stonehaven Logo

When I was asked to come up with a theme for a new company logo, I thought of our original ethos as that of a safe & strong home and place to dwell.

Snow on the Moor!

A little flurry of snow fell on Chollacott on New Years Eve and some of the residents enjoyed going outside to experience it. Unfortunately not enough for a snowball fight, though it saved Barbara the Manager doing risk assessments ☺☺

Christmas Day at Chollacott House

It was definitely a different kind of Christmas this year, but the team at Chollacott House made sure it was just as special for all of their residents. A visit from Father Christmas was most certainly the highlight! Families joined in the festivities from the garden, raising a glass to loved ones.

Guinea Pigs enjoy Christmas too!

Even Thunder and Zeus, the resident Guinea Pigs at Chollcott House, got into the Christmas spirit!

Special Christmas Gifts

Jaz, manager of Dove Tree House in Exeter had the idea for the residents to make personalised Christmas gifts for their families. They made salt dough Christmas decorations, soap, tea light holders, snow globes and calendars. They also made truffles but ate them, so chef Keith made up a batch for every resident to put in their gift package! The residents are giving their gifts to their loved ones this week and over the festive period.Dove Tree House in Exeter - Christmas gifts Dove Tree House in Exeter - Christmas gifts
