Our Care Homes continue to receive such wonderful messages and treats, which really help to keep everybody positive! This lovely hamper full of sweets was delivered to the care team at Dove Tree House in Exeter by a friend of a resident. Thank you so much x
The thoughtful chef at Dove Tree House in Exeter, created a wonderful cake for all the mothers in the home to share, in the absence of sons and daughters this year. Although a few turned up to wave through the window at their mums – some held lovely Mother’s Day banners! Positive stories in challenging times!
Olive, resident of Dove Tree House in Exeter, had a great day celebrating her 103rd Birthday! She didn’t want much fuss but enjoyed a few glasses of sherry ( her favourite tipple!) and wowed on the karaoke with her version of ‘My Way’. Four generations of her family joined her for tea Birthday cake. Happy Birthday Olive!
Children from Discovery Nursery in Exeter visted the residents at Dove Tree House in their Christmas jumpers on Friday, for singing and festive fun. The nursery visits every year at Christmas time, and the residents love it!
Always lovely to get feedback from our residents like this from Dot at Dove Tree House:
‘If I’d known how nice it was, I would have come sooner!’
Here she is playing the bones.

Although lovely to see the snow in Devon (a rare thing!) it has presented challenges for many. Thank you to all of our care teams for going above and beyond, to keep our residents safe, warm and well-fed during the past few days. Many people were stranded at work, so kindly stayed to work shifts that others (trapped at home!), were unable to cover. I’m always overwhelmed by the kindness, generosity and selflessness of people in times of need. Thank you, you lovely people!
Dove Tree House in Exeter held a Christmas Party for residents, family, friends and staff on Friday afternoon. A huge raffle, where everyone won a prize(or two), fun party games, a wonderful spread of food and Christmas karaoke led by Keith and Jake, the home’s chefs! Over £150 was raised for the residents fund. Well done all at Dove Tree xx
Really enjoying the Halloween photos that have been sent to me at Support Office this morning! It looks like a lot of fun was had at Dove Tree House in Exeter, with residents, staff and family members all getting into the spirit (pun!), with amazing costumes, pumpkin carving, spooky games and terrifying food!
