Stunning New Conservatory for Kent House
October 26, 2012Residents at Kent House are thrilled that the unique extension to their home is complete and ready to enjoy! The £80k project began some 4 months ago, with planning permission the first challenge given the grandeur of the original building and its' location in a conservation area. The extension was designed in close consultation with the conservation officer in Okehampton, and the results speak for themselves. It's a beautiful space that appears as though part of the original building, with the external granite wall being brought inside! We are so pleased we took the time to find not only the most competitively priced building contractor, but the most conscientious team. Thank you to J&S Construction. One of the features of the design is the skirting-board radiators, which not only look stylish and allow for furniture against all walls, but is also one of the most efficient heating systems. The room seats 12 comfortably and lends itself perfectly to reading, relaxing or simply watching the world go by.
