Stonehaven Residents take high tea at HMS Drake
June 4, 2013On the 13th May staff and residents from Chollacott House in Tavistock, were invited to High Tea by Commodore Graeme Little, who is Naval Base Commander, Devonport. Commodore Little said 'We are delighted to act as host to such an interesting group of people. Many Naval personnel have relatives who are in residential or care homes so it is an area of expertise which is of great interest and importance to us.' After a delicious cream tea, the residents were driven home in the Stonehaven spcially adapted minibus, The Wanderer. Stonehaven Director Ralphe Stone, who attended the tea, said 'We are most grateful to the Royal Navy for such a wonderful experience.'
