Donnington House - Xmas Presents

Special Christmas Gifts

Jaz, manager of Dove Tree House in Exeter had the idea for the residents to make personalised Christmas gifts for their families. They made salt dough Christmas decorations, soap, tea light holders, snow globes and calendars. They also made truffles but ate them, so chef Keith made up a batch for every resident to put in their gift package! The residents are giving their gifts to their loved ones this week and over the festive period.Dove Tree House in Exeter - Christmas gifts Dove Tree House in Exeter - Christmas gifts

Cross Park - Ann Marie

A Fond Farewell

On Friday we bid a fond farewell to the wonderful Manager of Cross Park House in Brixham, Ann-Marie Wilkinson. Ann-Marie had been at Cross Park and with Stonehaven for 14 years, and she will be much missed by residents, their families and everyone who has worked with her over the years. So sad not to be able to give her the huge hugs we wanted to, but a socially distanced wave and smiling eyes above masks, just had to do! Wishing you happy times ahead Ann-Marie, you’ve been amazing! For now, she leaves Cross Park in the very capable hands of her long time Deputy, Jackie Slack.

Autumn Fun at The Manor

I can’t believe how much fun they’ve been having at The Manor of late! Day of the Dead and Halloween celebrations – don’t be alarmed by the scissors in the head – a rather too realistic fancy dress prop! Pumpkins carving, cake baking and decorating, and Trick or Treating! And plenty of arts and crafts – painting dry leaves and driftwood for Autumn hanging baskets. Wonderful!Painting pinecones and driftwood at The Manor Exeter Pumpkin decoration at The Manor Exeter
