The Tennis competition started off with a hit! Everyone took part with tremendous effort, there were no boundaries that we couldn’t overcome. Caroline was very competitive and showed us all how it was done. She made it look all far to easy from the comfort of her chair. Everyone deserved a medal, but they were treated to pimms instead.

Geoff’s birthday wish was to have a ride on the local steam train. This was a dream that we made come true for Geoff’s special 70th birthday and he had a fantastic time.
Geoff was then surprised by family and friends back at St Petrocs.

Chef Pati wanted to go all out for the ‘Wimbledon Celebrations’ and was serving up Eton mess and zero stress – the real queen of sweet treats at The Manor!
We did however have to serve up a warning for some of our residents- Warning! Eton mess cakes may cause uncontrollable smiling and spontaneous whipped cream mustaches.
For Mo’s birthday not only did she want to celebrate with everyone but she had decided it was her 21st birthday again. It was so lovely not only to see her being cheeky and smiling with all the other residents but they got involved with the 21st again theme too.
The gentleman were treated to a barber coming in to provide a fresher look and a pamper for all. The home really did feel transformed after the visit.
As you can see Roy and David definitely enjoyed it

We love that we are able to provide these personal experiences for both our resident and their families. Ray recently shared a beautiful experience, where he was able to visit his wife Hilarys’ new home with her. She has moved into a smaller home since Ray has been at Chollacott. This gave them both time to not only connect in a new location but also allow Ray to visual things along with enjoying a home cooked Roast Lamb.

Thank you to all the friends, families and neighbours that attended the ‘Families Day’ at Bluebell House. It was a fun filled day with music, dancing, fancy dress a tombola stall, ice- cream a BBQ and of course lots of laughs; even our lovely Deputy Manager got a soaking. One of our residents even created a quiz for everyone to get involved in too.
