Going the Extra Mile for The Care Workers’ Charity

On Wednesday, the Stonehaven Support Team, walked 3.7 miles in support of The Care Worker's Charity 'Going the Extra Mile' campaign. Sponsored by friends and family, we headed off for a lunchtime walk, even managing to stop for a BBQ on route! 'Going the Extra Mile' is a week-long campaign dedicated to celebrating those care workers and care teams that go the extra mile every day. In recognition of the great work taking place in the care sector, the charity encourages individuals and organisations across the country to walk, run, bounce or even skip a mile, collecting sponsorship along the way. We thoroughly enjoyed getting out of the office for some fresh air, a burger and some very important fund raising!
