Jean’s 100th Birthday @Woodhayes

Last month, our community came together for a milestone that doesn’t come around often—Jean’s 100th birthday—and the celebration was every bit as joyful as the occasion deserved. With family, friends, and fellow residents gathered around, the room was full of chatter, smiles, and the kind of stories that only a century of living can inspire. And because turning 100 is no small feat, one cake simply wasn’t enough. We had two! Both were enjoyed with great enthusiasm, and Jean made sure to sample each one with her trademark sparkle and humour. When she blew out her candles, the applause was loud, the laughter was warm, and the moment felt truly special. It was a celebration overflowing with love, memories, and a wonderful sense of togetherness—exactly the kind of day that reminds us why our community feels like home.
